Although recognized by the City of Toronto as two separate communities, in reality local residents refer to it simply as Davisville Village and is divided almost perfectly by Mount Pleasant Road. Mount Pleasant East is bordered to the east by Bayview Ave, Moore Ave to the South, Yonge street to the West and Blythwood to the North.
Mt. Pleasant East is made up primarily of smaller detached houses, semi-detached houses and bungalows were built in the 1920's and 1930's. Mt. Pleasant East also contains a handful of historical homes from the late 1800's, and a growing number of new custom built homes.
